Just after midnight on July 4, Ruby began the whelping process. The girls kept watch and helped Ruby with her needs. With eager expectation they woke us up at around 1:00am as the first puppy was about to be born! Ruby is doing great, but it will be a long night.
As we wish our American friends a happy Independence Day, a new litter puppies will take their own first steps towards independence as they experience the world for the first time!
