Alaskan Malamutes are amazing dogs, but as with any breed, they may not be the best fit in every situation. While this breed generally loves people and makes great family dogs, it is important that these large, highly intelligent, strong-willed, and energetic dogs are given the appropriate environment and training from an early age to avoid becoming unmanageable dogs that no one wants to be around.
